General Terms and Conditions

Bottleshock.co.uk General Terms & Conditions are as outlined below. Please read these prior to placing any order with us.

Ordering

By submitting an order the customer is confirming to being at least 18 years of age.

Bottleshock.co.uk reserves the right to decline any order we receive and is not obliged to provide a reason for so doing.

Delivery

Orders received will be submitted as soon as possible upon receipt. Please, however, allow up to 14 days for delivery. In the event that your order is urgent, then please advise us at the time of placing the order so we can let you know whether the delivery timescale required can be guaranteed.

Returns

The customer is allowed to cancel any order placed and Bottleshock.co.uk will give full refunds as long as the customer notifies Bottleshock.co.uk within 7 days of placing the order. Please notify via one of the following methods only:

Following notification, the wines must be returned unopened, in their original packaging, & within 7 days to:

Bottleshock, 70 Rose St. Lane North, Edinburgh EH2 3DX. Please note that the expenses incurred in returning the order are the responsibility of the customer. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service for this purpose. Once the goods have been safely returned, Bottleshock.co.uk will notify the customer when the refund has been processed.

In the unlikely event there is a problem with any wines within the first month of purchase, Bottleshock.co.uk will replace or refund the faulty wine. Simply contact Bottleshock.co.uk providing proof of purchase.

Damaged Goods in Transit

The customer should carefully inspect the contents of any delivery as soon as possible upon its arrival. If there are any breakages or shortages the customer must notify Bottleshock.co.uk within 3 days (please use the same contact details as specified in the Returns section) and Bottleshock.co.uk will arrange either a refund or replacement for broken or missing bottle(s).

Bottleshock.co.uk conforms to the Data Protection Act 1998. Any information you provide is treated in strict confidence and stored securely. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Law

This website is based in the United Kingdom and all contracts are made under Scots Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%

Product Availability

Normally the display of wines on the website indicates they are in stock. If wines ordered are out of stock, Bottleshock.co.uk will contact you accordingly advising of the lead time for delivery and with suggested alternatives before progressing with any order.

The above terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
